Chelsea lived two decades in Michigan and one in Rome before moving to her current base in Washington, DC, where she works in digital strategy for non-profits. Chelsea’s first novel is in manuscript form, and is inspired by her father’s work as a small-town policeman in rural Michigan. Her short stories reach from the the backwoods of the American Midwest to grimy corners of Italy. She holds an MSc in Sociology from the London School of Economics and a BA in Communication from the American University of Rome. Chelsea’s work has been featured in Litro, Five on the Fifth, and the Stockholm Review of Literature.
